New Year Greetings
Happy New Year!
2024 was simultaneously a grindingly-slow and a blazingly-fast year.
2025 may well be a more deliberate and consistantly-paced year.
New Year's resolutions are often overly-ambitious and unrealistic, setting oneself up for failure by the end of the year, if the resolutions are even remembered to begin with.
This year I would like to keep things simpler and more achievable.
A year of refinement rather than a year of large changes.
For this I propose (to myself) to have a New Year's Philosophy, rather than a New Year's Resolution.
My New Year's Philosophy is "Keep it consistent, and constant".
Last year I focused deeply on one thing then the next, breaking up the progress.
This year I would like to have a certain set of habits that cohesively build up towards my goal(s).
Of course, writing blog articles more than twice a year is part of this. (Famous last words?)
I hope everyone has a very relaxing yet productive 2025.
As an example of the consistent/constant theme, this film roll was a result of taking one photo every day in October.
